Elizabeth and AJ's Wedding at Fairlawn Country Club

Elizabeth and AJ were married this past fall on a beautiful and sunny October day. Their ceremony was held at High Street Christian in downtown Akron where her grandparents were married many years earlier, and the reception was held at Fairlawn Country Club . There were many sentimental touches throughout the day including Elizabeth's grandmother's sixpence in her shoe, a memorial candle lighting during the ceremony, the Ohio State Buckeye groom's cake and the fact that Elizabeth's grandmother was the officiant for their ceremony. It was a fantastic celebration of Elizabeth and AJ's new life together. Joining me to capture the day was Ticia Mangino of Ticia Mangino Photography and Brian Palmer of Brian Palmer Photography.

Katie and Alex's Engagement Session

Many months before Katie was engaged, I had been lucky enough to get to know her family through a few other photography sessions. She comes from a very warm and loving family who have exhibited amazing strength and grace in the face of incredibly heartbreaking losses in their family this past year. We were able to get out just at the end of the season this past fall to have a little fun and get some great shots of Katie and Alex. Katie and Alex -my heart goes out to your family, and I am looking forward to your wedding next June.

Katarina and Franc's Engagement Session

I can't believe how quickly Katarina and Franc's wedding is coming up. It really seems like we just did their engagement session. This past fall we went to Brandywine Falls, which is where they had their first date. Despite being overcast, it was a great day to capture some beautiful fall color. And luckily we got it in just a few days before most of the remaining leaves fell. After a few shots at Brandywine we moved on to Indigo Lake and Hale Farm. One of the things I loved about photographing them was capturing the romantic and easy way they have of being with each other. There was something about the way that they would touch or hold each other - that was so casual, simple and real. It was beautiful to capture that during their session. I look forward to their wedding this May!!!

Kristin and Jared's Wedding in New Philadelphia

Kristin and Jared were married this past October at Sacred Heart in New Philadelphia, Ohio. I had the opportunity to photograph Kristin and Jared twice before their wedding day. Once with just the two of them, and once with their beautiful lab Bella. Each time I was with them, we had such a great time - I knew their wedding would be fantastic and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The love and happiness that Kristin and Jared have for each other is contagious. There were tons of hugs, smiles and laughter on their wedding day. I remember how excited Kristin was that day to just get to the moment where she could see Jared and start their new life together as husband and wife. It's really hard for me to pick just a few images from the wedding day, any wedding day (if you haven't noticed from previous posts). There are just so many fantastic moments, and I want to share them all with you. But I have narrowed it down at least to some of my favorite moments.
