Natalie and Jason's Wedding in Pittsburgh, PA

It still amazes me when I look back at just how many weddings and engagement sessions I photographed last year. 2010 literally just flew by. Natalie and Jason were married this past October at Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Crescent Township, PA. Natalie was such a beautiful and elegant bride, and I kept thinking she looked so much like Anne Hathaway. The thing about Natalie and Jason that I love, is their shared strength in their faith. I was initially struck by it during their engagement session, and even more touched by it on their wedding day. They are a fantastic couple, with a lot of loving family and friends around them. I had a ton of fun photographing them. We even had a little fun during the portraits with the wedding party - its totally one of my favorites shots. After some fun with the portraits, we went to the reception at Rosario's in Pittsburgh.

Ashley and Henry's Wedding in Cleveland

With all the cold rainy weather we've had lately, I find myself seriously wishing for a little sunshine. So it's nice to reflect on some of last season's weddings where we had sunny skies and much warmer weather. Ashley and Henry were married on a beautiful and sunny Friday this past October at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Bay Village. I loved watching Henry's face change once he saw Ashley being escorted down the aisle by her father. I think that the groom's reaction when he sees the bride is always just so great to watch - you really never know how he is going to react. After Ashley and Henry's family portraits in the sanctuary, we went to Huntington Beach for some fun bridal party and bride and groom portraits. Our next stop was Windows on the River for the reception. As a surprise for Ashley, Henry sang a song for her before their first dance. It was absolutely one of the sweetest moments of the day. At the end of the evening, we had to sneak outside for at least one quick picture of the Cleveland Skyline.
